Battlecruiser Hyperion from StarCraft II

Lego craftsmen Sven Junga built this Terran battlecruiser as part of a larger Terran army, as seen on his Flickr stream. This is really a very nice and detailed model. The number of bricks used isn't specified, but I would imagine the number goes up to at least 1500 to 2000 bricks.

LEGO Lord of the Rings

LEGO and Warner Bros. have announced that a Dannish company has picked up the rights to produce Lego sets based off of the video adaptations of Tolkien's classic books, as well as the new Hobbit movies. These sets are due for release in Summer 2012.

LEGO Batman 2 to have Superman, Wonder Woman

 Some ad inserts in new LEGO Super Hero sets seem to confirm the rumors that the new LEGO Batman game, most likely slated for 2012, will contain some new superheros teaming up with The Dark Knight. Some believe that the likes of Lex Luthor and others may also appear in the game.

Wisconsin Kid Builds Lego Replicas of Farm Equipment

 I find this quite amazing. This kid, Warren Seely, has been building these Lego replicas since he was 12. The replicas are made completely from Legos, except for the wheels, which came from some model, and run using Mindstorms. Every replica works exactly like its larger counterpart, only, you know, they won't kill you should you get your hand caught in it.
