Poor Old Guy...

An elderly Ontario man was recently turned away from the Legoland Discovery Center in Toronto that he so wanted to visit because of a rather hidden rule that all adults must be accompanying a child. John St-Onge, a 63-year old Lego fanatic, has wanted to visit the flagship Legoland in Denmark, but is unable to due to his failing health. When he learned of the Discovery Center in Toronto, he was delighted, and made the 3-hour trip with his grown daughter Nicole, only to be turned away at the door.

This is just awful. And stupid. Lego is enjoyed by people of all ages, not just children. Regular Legoland has no such rule as far as my knowledge. All this guy wanted to do was see the exhibits and get some picture references for a build he wants to do. Oddly enough though, the Center does have a monthly adult night, so clearly they recognize that people other than children enjoy Lego, so this policy of theirs simply baffles me.
